Welcome

Urban Life welcomes all people to our community regardless of race or age, gender or sexual orientation. We are a church and community of people trying to figure out how to live together with the earth in a way that hopefully reflects Jesus. If you are searching for a church to attend, have a look around on our website to get a feel for us, or if you’re trying to find out more about the programs we run start on the ‘What we do’ page.

We exist for the wellbeing of our community, so if you need support or would like to speak to a team member, click below to get in contact with a real human.

URBAN LIFE CHRISTMAS

Hamper Night

We are providing ‘make your own hampers’ for the guests of the Winter Shelter program, which will be held on Sun 24th Dec.

Christmas Community Lunch

On Mon 25th Dec we will be celebrating Christmas Day with a community lunch at 11am.

Urban Life Community acknowledge that the land we meet on is the traditional lands for the Wurundjeri people.

We respect the spiritual relationship that the Wurundjeri people have with this country, and recognise that their connection to culture and heritage is still important today.

We pay our respects to all Elders past, present, and future.

Church Service Times

We like to begin our service with a warm drink and a chat so, please feel free to rock up at 10:15am.

If you’d prefer to come in and sit at the back without too much chatting, feel free to come in at 10:30am when the service starts.

  • 10:15 am for a coffee

    10:30am Service Start

  • We no longer stream our services, our tech skills were never that developed so they really were a choice of last resort! But if you would like to check out some of the old streamed Sunday Services and you can manage to sit through them you can find them online through our facebook group here. You will need to join the private group to watch.

Where we are

  • 143 Maroondah Hwy, Ringwood, 3134

  • You can park at Eastland. The closest Eastland car park is for the Town Centre, enter through Gate 5 off ringwood street and go up two ramps.

You can park behind the Plant shop on the corner of Maroondah Hwy and Ringwood Street under the bridge.

There is also parking in a few spots along Seymour Street.

Like many of Melbourne’s best spots, we are a little hard to find. Our front door is on Maroondah Hwy, opposite VicRoads and Ringwood Station.

We have an amazing mural on the front of our building dedicated to Simon Wonga, who was a proud Wurundjeri leader, who fought for his people’s rights to live on country and be in charge of their own lives. The artwork was created by Andrew Bourke with the blessings of decendances of Simon Wonga and leaders of the Wurundjeri Community.
