urbanlife’s Social Action movement
The urbanlife  Community desire to be generous: both within our own community and to the wider community at large.  Our global action consists of numerous activities from financially resourcing projects to travelling with teams of volunteers to local and international communities.

As a community we believe in assisting those in need by looking to our existing resources and strengths.  Even the simple gesture of volunteering time can speak volumes to someone needing assistance.  Our posture is one of sharing what we have: we seek not only to give a hand to, but a hand up for those experiencing scarcity.

Cambodia
We believe that it is when values are translated to action that sustainable change is achieved.  Each year a team of volunteers travel to Cambodia to volunteer time to assist with local community development projects.  On a recent trip a team from urbanlife assisted a local surgeon to provide free cataract surgery.  The abundance of resources in the Western World serves as a constant reminder to us that issues of poverty and injustice can be addressed through the advocacy of a small group of people willing to take a chance.  Contact us for more information on how you can become involved in either giving or going.
